Ration Card Fees Details

The fee for Ration Card may vary from state to state. However the fee taken by state government(s) is Rs. 3 to Rs. 15 for various purposes like New Ration Card, Addition or Deletion Name from Ration Card.

Generally Rs. 5 is taken by State Government(s) for the issue of a New Ration Card, BPL Card and Rs. 10 for APL Cards. Rs. 45/- for issuing the Ccomputerised Ration Card in Bangalore I.R. Area and Bailahongal Taluk of Belgaum District. However, the fee may differ from state to state. You can check the respective state’s website for Fee Details.

Duplicate Ration Card Fee-

If the Ration Card has been lost or misplaced, the charges for issuing the Duplicate Ration Card are approx Rs. 15/- for BPL Cards, Rs. 25/- for APL Ration Cards and Rs.45/- for Computerised Ration Cards in Bangalore IR area and Bailahongal District. Fee may vary state to state.

Who Issues Ration Card?

Ration Card is issued by the Indian Public Distribution System (PDS). However the main issuing authority is appointed on district by state governments.

The Ration Card is issued to the public directly by District Food & Supplies Department or another issuing authority appointed by state government.

The Application Form for Ration Card is also available in the office of District Food & Supply Office.

The Online Application System is also available. Online Application for Ration Card can be filled online through the respective state’s website.
