Ration Card Online- Daman and Diu

Ration Card in Daman and Diu | Ration Card Application Form | Update Ration Card in Daman and Diu | Correction/ Change in Name & Address- The government of Daman and Diu has provided online facility for the citizens of Daman and Diu. By the online facility in Daman and Diu, people can apply online for Ration Card related issues in the state.

Ration Card Colour in Daman and Diu-

Above Poverty Line (APL) – Under this category white coloured card is issue to the citizens.

Below Poverty Line (BPL)- Families under Below Poverty Line holds Pink Colour Card issued by the Government.

Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY)– Under this scheme, yellow coloured card is issued to the beneficiary by the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA).

Annapurna Scheme- Beneficiary under this scheme are issued with the blue card. List of beneficiary is prepared by the District Panchayat of Union Territory. Citizens not covered under National Old Age are included in it.

For New Ration Card in Daman and Diu-

Application can be made at the plain paper along with the Prescribed Declaration Form. Format is also given in the Annexure-1. Obtain the Cancellation Certificate from the concerned Taluka Mamlatdar where earlier ration card was made and attach it also with the form. After submission, application will be endorsed to the concerned Talathi/ Gram Sevak for the enquiry and report of applicant’s data.

Time Period– New Ration Card will be issued to the Applicant within 7 Days.

For Modification/ Correction in Ration Card-

Sub Inspector of Civil Supplies prior approval of civil Supplies Officer has authority to approved changes and duly application should be made to Sub Inspector of Civil Supplies prior approval of civil Supplies Officer.

For Cancellation of Name in Ration Card-

Application for this should be made on plain paper indicating the name of person which is to be cancelled. Attach the Old Ration Card also with the application form. Cancellation Certificate will be allotted to the Applicant within 5 days after due deletion of name in Ration Card.

Duplicate Ration Card-

To get the duplicate ration card applicant need to apply on plain paper and with the application form a certificate obtained from Concerned fair Price Shop, affidavit giving details of family members, residential address and reasons for seeking duplicate ration card should be enclosed. Applicable Fee of Rs. 1/- is to be deposited in the treasury. Duplicate Ration Card will be issued in 7 days after getting report from Fair Price Shop (FSP).

Separate Ration Card (within the state i.e. Daman and Diu)-

For this Application/ NOC from existing Ration Cardholder and Declaration form issued by Civil Supplies Department should be submitted to the concerned authority and after submission of the form separate ration cardholders will be issued in 1 week.

Inclusion of Family Members/ Change Address in Ration Card –

For addition of the new member’s name in the Ration Card, application along with the Xerox copy of bIrth Certificate should be made by Representative to Area Rationing Office. On the same day name will be included in the Ration Card. Change in the Address within the jurisdiction of the same FPS- Application along with the Xerox copy of the House documents or NOC from house owner in case of Rental basis. After submission of complete documentation change will be on same day. Change In Address Including Changes Changes in FPS- Application along with xerox , copy of house documents and NOC from existing FPS. Change will be done in one week.

Issue of Surrender Certificate in Daman and Diu–

On transfer of family to other city or otherwise, Application along with the original ration card should be given to the respective authority and surrender certificate will be issued on the same day.

To search the Ration Card Online-

  1. Go to the Official Website of Daman and Diu.
  2. Enter the Ration card Number and Name in the required box.
  3. Click on the Search Option.

Result will be displayed on the screen.

Search Ration Card In Diu-

  1. Open the Ration card Search Link on Official Website of Diu.
  2. Click on “Search Ration Card Diu” Link given in left side of page.
  3. Enter the required detail like ration Card Number and Name by which search is to be made.
  4. The list will be displayed.
